OFFICIAL BIO
Elisa Camahort Page was the Founding COO of BlogHer, Inc. BlogHer scaled from grassroots movement to national women’s media brand. After bootstrapping for two years, they raised four rounds of VC funding and achieved exit by acquisition. Through BlogHer’s community practices and her own, Elisa built community, scaled a business, created a new market, and championed inclusivity in words and action at the intersection of content, community, and commerce.
Since leaving the company that acquired BlogHer, Elisa has served in full-time and fractional CxO roles, delivered advisory and consultative services to organizations across the Media, Tech, Social Impact, and Learning & Development verticals, and coached early-stage entrepreneurs.
Elisa’s past speaking engagements include TEDx, INFORUM at Commonwealth Club, 92nd Street Y, SXSW, DENT, DLD Women, U.S. Embassy Moscow, and the headquarters of Coca-Cola, Google, LinkedIn, and Logitech. Her writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Mashable, San Jose Mercury News, and FoxNews.com. She is now the host of The Op-Ed Page with Elisa Camahort Page podcast and the curator behind the This Week-ish newsletter.
Elisa serves on the board of directors of the NanoSteam Foundation and Our Hen House. She is also an Astia Advisor and longtime member of the SXSW Interactive programming committee.
